Treatment
Every concussion presents differently, and requires an individualized treatment approach depending on the constellation of symptoms you are experiencing. At your appointment, your physical therapist will evaluate your symptoms and review your medical history. Your assessment will include all or part of the following areas:
-
Neck Pain, Mobility, and Mechanics
-
Eye Movement and Vision
-
Balance and Gait (walking)
-
Vertigo and Dizziness
-
Coordination
-
Activity Tolerance and Endurance
The goal of your treatment plan is to improve any deficits that were identified and reduce any symptoms you are experiencing.
Baseline Screening
At Bercutt PT, we offer comprehensive baseline testing for athletes or other at-risk populations to have on file in case of future injury. Our baseline testing provides you with your own personal data to compare against after injury, giving your healthcare providers with valuable insight for your return-to-baseline goals.
