How can Physical Therapy help me?

Physical Therapy addresses the musculoskeletal system. In PT you will learn how to turn on the underactive muscles and turn off the overactive muscles through exercises and manual therapy. The goal of PT is to give you the tools and knowledge to live your most optimal life.

What should I wear to my appointments?

Plan to move. Athletic wear is preferrable as we usually exercise but we want you to be comfortable most of all. Closed toe shoes are required in the gym.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

During your first appointment, the evaluation, your physical therapist will take a thorough history and discuss your symptoms and diagnosis. You will together set some goals and develop a realistic treatment plan. You will also be given homework to kickstart your PT journey.

How many follow up appointments will I need?

Follow ups depend on diagnosis and compliance. Usually 1 to 2 times a week for 6 weeks. The more you do at home the sooner you will be done with rehab.

How much will my Physical Therapy cost?

The cost depends on your insurance. We try are best to have your expected cost prior to your first appointment. However, as with all medical care, it would benefit you to know the details of your insurance plan.

Do you have free parking?

YES! You may park in any of the visitor parking. DO NOT park in reserved spaces as you may be towed. Admittedly, our parking lot is small under the building, so if you are in a larger vehicle you may park in the adjacent lot on the southside of the building.
